We work hard ALL day. Throughout the day we learn in math and science small groups, literacy small groups, large group, and centers. We take a hands-on approach to ensure that our children are learning at the highest level. We have a very busy day and are actively learning each second. Everyday the students create a play plan that they illustrate and then write a sentence. After the plan is established the child follows through with that plan at the given center. We have multiple read alouds each day and enjoy retelling stories. We also have daily songs and nursery rhymes that we practice. Please encourage your child to share the songs and nursery rhymes, with hand/body motions at home. You can also discuss your child's weekly play planning book with he/she when it is brought home on Friday. You will be amazed!
